  Historic Pub Tour of The Rocks and Millers Point

  Join Mark Dunn and Lisa Murray who will lead you on a historic tour of Sydney's oldest pub landscape.  

  Hotel historiography is controversial in its claims of oldest, meanest, spookiest, bestest... This tour will sweep the floor with actual facts and clear out the dregs that have stained the carpets of so many of our fine establishments.

  • This event is for attendees of the 2026 Australian Historical Association Conference hosted by Macquarie University.
  • You do not need to be a member of the Professional Historians Association to attend.
  • There are limited places, and if you miss out, you can be placed on a waitlist.
  • If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration, so people on the waitlist can be added to the tour.

  It's getting cold outside. To shake off those winter blues, join your colleagues from the PHA NSW & ACT for our Midwinter Meetup at the Glebe Hotel (Nude Lounge, Level 1)

  Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members. We will have a selection of nibbles suitable for vegans and omnivores. Buy your own drinks at the bar. 

  Members are welcome to bring guests, but we reserve the right to encourage them to join the PHA!

  The Glebe Hotel is located a short walk from Central Station, and is also accessible by other public transport options.
